At Northern Orthodontics, we want to ensure your teeth stay on track, even after orthodontic treatment. That’s why we like to see our patients for at least two check-up appointments after the removal of your braces. We also offer a remote, virtual retention scheme.
Retainers are provided to you by Northern Orthodontics. We ask that before your check-up appointment with us, you use our virtual consultation tool to send us some progress photos of your teeth. This will save you the £25 face-to-face consultation fee.
If you break or lose your removable retainer, this can be replaced at a cost of £125.
Alternatively, if you wish to keep your face-to-face appointments with Northern Orthodontics to a minimum after treatment, you can join our Virtual Retention Scheme.
For £75, we will provide you with state-of-the-art orthodontic monitoring equipment known as a Dental Monitoring ScanBox. Using the smartphone app, you can easily send us photos of your teeth using your mobile phone.
Every three months, we will remind you to send us progress photos of your smile, bite, and teeth, allowing us to ensure your treatment is staying on track even after your braces have been removed.
We’ll monitor every element of your mouth and will contact you if we see an issue, such as risk of relapse or ill-fitting retainers.
A £450 annual subscription fee will be charged to continue to monitor your teeth at the virtual retention monitoring phase.
